Fabrics: here’s a short list of popular fabric suppliers that I’ve personally used:

Foam: my costume pieces are built using either upholstery foam (head bases) or EVA foam sheets (ears, feet bottoms).

Patterns: my many years of costume-building experience have exclusively been with fursuit head/mask construction. This means I’ve relied on purchasing and learning from patterns for items like paws, tails, and bodysuits that were generously created by some very talented makers!
